Rusty oh Rusty - this boy has such an incredible story and I could probably write a book about his adventures. But I will save that for the lucky family that sees the potential and love this boy has to offer. He is about 1 1/2 years old, playful, funny, quirky, loves other dogs of all sizes and probably cats too. He doesn't discriminate - he just wants friends. He also likes to play in the swimming pool. In fact one friend was a concrete statue of a deer for 3 months (part of that adventure story!). Rusty is shy and a little unsure of humans. Even though he likes all dogs he does fancy the girls. With another friendly dog he will come up for his loves and then steps away. if you walk away from him he will come up behind you and bump you in the back of the leg or your rump. He is so funny! Rusty just needs consistency and reassurance that humans aren't scary. He is SMART too. Oh is this boy SMART (more on that story). Please consider giving this boy the live he deserves. Special Needs: Rusty was not treated nice in his early years and then lived on his own for about 6 months. He is very shy and extremely afraid of a leash. His special needs are simply patience, love and gentleness to help him trust humans again.
